PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian died Saturday night after being stuck by an SUV at an intersection in north Phoenix, CBS 5 reports.
The individual was hit at about 8:20 p.m. while attempting to cross Cave Creek Road at Greenway Road. The pedestrian died at the scene.
The driver is cooperating with police investigations. No identities have been released.
A second collision occurred at the scene after a motorist stopped their vehicle after seeing the pedestrian in the roadway and was rear-ended by another vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of that crash.
