TUCSON, AZ - A man was killed as the result of a multi-vehicle collision in southeast Tucson Tuesday evening, KGUN reports.
The two-vehicle accident occurred sometime before 7 p.m. along Golf Links Road at the intersection with Sarnoff Drive.
Investigators believe two vehicles, a 2003 Ford F-150 and a maroon 2005 Dodge 1500, were racing each other along Golf Links Road when the Ford hit a third vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn onto Sarnoff.
The driver of the struck vehicle, 54-year-old Timothy Michael Tengler, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Charges are pending against the drivers who were racing.
