Hit-and-Run on I-17 Near Camelback Road Leaves One Dead

police do not cross sign at fatal crash PHOENIX, AZ – One person died as the result of a hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles on I-17 early Saturday morning.

According to reporting by CBS 5, the incident took place at about 1:30 a.m. near the Camelback Road overpass.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says that one person suffered fatal injuries in the crash and that one of the drivers fled the scene before authorities arrived.
