PHOENIX, AZ - A man was killed following a high-speed crash in north Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon, CBS 5 reports.
Police say the driver of a Honda Civic traveling east on Happy Valley Road collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck near 29th Avenue at about 2:30 p.m.
Both vehicles skidded out of control and crashed into a BMW and a Ford that were westbound on Happy Valley Rd.
The driver of the BMW, 63-year-old Donald Beam, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The unidentified driver of the Honda was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed in connection to the crash.
