YUMA, AZ – Two people were killed and four others were hospitalized after two vehicles collided in Yuma on Sunday.
According to 12 News, a Toyota Corolla traveling north on Avenue G crossed the center line near County 12thStreet and slammed head-on into a Dodge Ram 1500.
Both the driver of the Toyota, 29-year-old Jesus Aceves, and his passenger, 18-year-old Uriel Sicarlos, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The Dodge’s four occupants were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators do not believe impairment played a role in the crash at this time.
