Man Dies When His Dirt Bike Crashes Into a Police Car

dirt bike wheels on city pavementPHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed last night after his dirt bike crashed into a police SUV in north Phoenix.

According to a report by ABC 15, 32-year-old Brant Antwon Deshawn was riding a dirt bike eastbound on 39th Avenue at about 6 p.m. when it collided with the marked police cruiser as it turned left from Sweetwater Avenue.

Deshawn was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Deshawn was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and the dirt bike was not licensed for road use.
