Stock image of a hospitalPRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ – Two people were killed following a collision on Highway 69 in Prescott Valley on Wednesday.

According to 12 News, the crash occurred sometime before 10:30 a.m. near the intersection with Valley View Drive.

Responding officers say one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was taken to a nearby hospital, where they died a short time later.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
