One Dead, One Hurt in Crash on US-60 in Peoria

PEORIA, AZ – One person was killed and another was injured Saturday afternoon when their vehicles collided on US 60 near its intersection with 83rd Avenue, ABC 15 reports.

Police believe that a white car headed northwest made a left-hand turn in front of a silver vehicle traveling southeast, causing the two vehicles to collide.

The driver of the white car died at the scene. He has been identified as Steven Thomas, 45.

The driver of the silver car was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. No updates on that individual’s identity or condition are available at this time.
