Fatal Truck-Related Crash Reported in West Phoenix

fedex truck traveling through intersectionPHOENIX, AZ – One person was killed and two others were rushed to the hospital Monday evening following a collision involving a FedEx truck in west Phoenix.

According to a report by ABC 15, the three-vehicle crash took place at about 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

Police arrived to find a pickup truck, a minivan, and a FedEx semi-truck covered in flames.

The driver of the minivan was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the pickup and the FedEx truck were both hospitalized in unknown conditions.

Investigators are working to establish the cause of the crash.
