PHOENIX, AZ ”“ According to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, one person was killed following an accident on I-10 late Thursday night.

According to CBS 5, the two-vehicle collision occurred within the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 67th Avenue, shortly before midnight yesterday. Emergency services pronounced one person dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway into an official cause of the collision. The identities of those involved have not yet been made available.
