CHANDLER, AZ – Two people died following a collision on Loop 202 in Chandler during Monday morning’s rush hour, CBS 5 reports.
The accident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway, near Alma School Road.
The cause of the two-vehicle crash is unclear at this time. However, two people suffered fatal injuries as a result.
The freeway was closed for several hours after the incident. All lanes were reopened by 10:30 a.m.
