Morning Crash Closes Lanes on I-17 Near Dunlap Ave

PHOENIX, AZ – Commuters in north Phoenix faced significant delays resulting from a traffic accident on I-17 early Tuesday morning.

According to Arizona DOT, the collision happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. on the southbound side of the interstate, just past Dunlap Avenue.

Traffic camera footage from the scene shows multiple vehicles blocking at least the three left-most lanes. The cause of the crash is not yet clear, but all lanes were reopened as of 7:11 a.m.
