Motorcycle Rider Dies in Crash with Dump Truck

PHOENIX, Ariz. ”“ A motorcyclist died after colliding with a dump truck in Tempe on Wednesday morning, Sept. 2. The motorcycle accident occurred near 48th Avenue and Broadway Road at approximately 5 a.m. According to the Phoenix Police Department, the motorcycle was speeding through the area before crashing into a dump truck.

The 33-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Phoenix Police spokesperson Sgt. Maggie Cox said the 63-year-old truck driver did not show any signs of intoxication.
