MESA, AZ - A man was killed after his vehicle overturned on U.S. 60 just west of Mesa on Sunday evening, CBS 5 reports.
Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) say the man lost control of his SUV and struck a guardrail near Ellsworth Road, causing the vehicle to roll.
The SUV came to rest in a roadside embankment. The unidentified male driver was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
