TUCSON, AZ – A truck driver sustained burn injuries when a big rig caught fire along I-10 in Tucson early Tuesday morning.
According to KOLD News 13, the incident took place sometime before 8:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, just before West Sunset Road.
Crews just extinguished a semi-truck fire on I-10 EB near Sunset Rd. Driver suffered burn injury, transported for treatment.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for burn injuries. That individual’s condition remains unclear at this time.
