One Injured in Single Vehicle Collision on SR-347

police responding to emergency PHOENIX, AZ – CBS 5 reported injuries to a driver due to a collision along SR-347 on Sunday.

The single-vehicle accident occurred near Casa Blanca Road. It is not clear why the driver lost control, but the vehicle crashed through a roadside fence before coming to a stop in the median.

Upon arrival, first responders transported the driver to a nearby hospital. The extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown at this time.

The incident shut down all lanes of the freeway in both directions for some time after the crash. All lanes were reopened shortly before 6 p.m.

A subsequent dust advisory was issued in the area through 7:45 p.m.
