Mobile Home Fire Leaves One Dead

deadly mobile home fire APACHE JUNCTION, AZ – One person was killed as the result of a fire involving several mobile homes in Apache Junction on Tuesday afternoon, 12 News reports.

The fire broke out sometime before 2:30 p.m. at a mobile home complex near the intersection of East Boulder Drive and North 105th Place.

It is unclear what may have sparked the fire. However, firefighters discovered heavy smoke and fire coming from several mobile homes. Debris and vehicles impeded their progress.

Once the fire was knocked down, a deceased individual was found in one of the mobile homes. Their identity has not yet been released.

No other injuries were reported.
