Violent Head-On Crash Leaves Two Pinned Inside Vehicles

PHOENIX, AZ – A man and a 16-year-old teenager were taken to the hospital following a violent head-on collision in north Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.

According to CBS 5, the two-vehicle crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of 7th Street and Deer Valley Drive.

First responders discovered a 16-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man pinned inside the vehicles. Both individuals were extricated and rushed to a nearby hospital. The 16-year-old’s injuries were described as serious while the 25-year-old’s were extremely critical.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time, as is whether anyone else was involved. We will update his blog with more information as it is made available to the public.
