DEER VALLEY, AZ - At least two lanes of southbound I-17 were closed following a late-night crash in Deer Valley on Wednesday.
According to a tweet by Arizona DoT, the multi-vehicle crash occurred at about 11:42 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway, just before Exit 217 to Pinnacle Peak Road.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. Traffic-camera footage shows two vehicles blocking the leftmost lanes, with traffic progressing slowly in the HOV lane.
