PHOENIX, AZ - One man died, and four other people were rushed to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in North Phoenix Sunday morning.
According to a report by Fox 10 Phoenix, a car crashed into a barrier on I-17 southbound near the Happy Valley Road overpass sometime before 6:40 a.m.
Several other vehicles collided after the initial crash. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 34-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Three others were hospitalized in stable condition.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash.
