At Least One Person Seriously Hurt in South Tucson Collision

TUCSON, AZ - Police closed a major intersection in southeast Tucson following a collision with injuries Monday morning, KGUN reports.
Officers were called to the intersection of South Country Club Road and East Bilby Road shortly before 9:40 a.m.

Please avoid the intersection of S. Country Club Road & E. Bilby Road. Traffic is closed in all directions at this intersection.
Operations Division South is investigating collision with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, at least one person sustained serious injuries as a result.
The intersection was blocked in both directions while emergency crews worked at the scene. All lanes have since been reopened.
