Construction Worker Falls One Story at Site Near ASU

TEMPE, AZ – A worker is recovering in the hospital after falling at least one story at a construction site near Arizona State University on Wednesday.

ABC 15 reports the incident occurred sometime before 8:30 a.m. at the site on Vista Del Lago Drive, just south of the Salt River.

The unidentified worker fell from the 8th floor to the 7th floor of the building. A technical rescue team was called to the scene to safely get the man down. They transported him to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.

The cause of the accident remains unclear.
