PHOENIX, AZ – Officials in Phoenix are reporting injuries resulting from a collision north of downtown late Monday morning.

According to Arizona 511, the incident occurred within the intersection of North 56th Street and East Cactus Road at about 11:30 a.m. No details have yet been released regarding the individuals involved or the nature of their injuries.

Authorities are advising motorists to find an alternate route around the intersection so the crash may be safely investigated and cleared from the roadway.
