TUCSON, AZ – Police responded to a fatal pedestrian collision east of the city last Friday evening.
According to KOLD, a man was crossing East Broadway Boulevard in the 8100 block when he was struck by a motor vehicle at about 7 p.m.
The unidentified victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Police believe the man was walking outside of the designated crosswalk when the accident occurred.
