Multi-Vehicle Crash Results in Six-Year-Old’s Death

GILBERT, AZ – A young child was killed on Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in northeast Gilbert.
According to a report by CBS 5, officers responded to the scene near Baseline Road and Val Vista Drive at about 2:30 p.m.
The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, a six-year-old child was transported to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.
It is unclear at this time if any other injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
