CASA GRANDE, AZ – A driver was airlifted to a Phoenix hospital following a rollover crash in Casa Grande on Tuesday.

According to the Casa Grande Dispatch, the two-vehicle collision took place at about 3:30 p.m. along Florence Boulevard just outside of the Fry’s Food and Drug store.

Police say the driver of a blue car made a left turn in front of a red car, causing the two vehicles to collide and the blue car to overturn.

The driver in the blue vehicle was flown to the hospital for treatment of a serious head injury. The other driver was unhurt. Neither has been cited at this time, due to conflicting stories of how the accident occurred.
