TEMPE, AZ - A car collided with a restaurant in southwest Tempe on Saturday, littering the storefront with twisted metal and broken sheets of glass.
FOX 10 reports that the collision happened at Big Wa Chinese Cuisine, located close to 48th Street and Southern Avenue. An employee at the restaurant told reporters that he spoke to the vehicle’s adult occupant, who said that he had been trying to teach his son to drive.
It is unclear which of the two was behind the wheel at the time of collision.
While no one was hurt, Big Wa Chinese Cuisine is likely to remain closed for several days as the restaurant is cleaned and repaired.
