A man died from a head-on car crash nearBeloat and Jackrabbit TrailinBuckeye on Aug. 12, according to Maricopa County deputies.

As of this posting, it is not known if speed or driver intoxication played a role in the accident. While the accident investigation was being conducted, Jackrabbit Trail was closed from Beloat Road to MC 85.
