PRESCOTT, AZ - A Scottsdale man was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Prescott on Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by MyRadioPlace, the man was riding north on White Spar Road when a southbound white SUV turned in front of him at Haisley Road. The 38-year-old cyclist struck the SUV and was thrown from his bike, landing in the roadway.
He was hospitalized with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the 87-year-old woman who was driving the SUV failed to see the cyclist. They cited her for failure to yield while making a left turn.
