bicycle chain on bikeGLENDALE, AZ – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver near Glendale on Sunday night.

According to 12 News, the victim was hit by a blue Ford Fusion near the intersection of Northern Avenue and Reems Road shortly before 7 p.m.

The unidentified cyclist died at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Ford fled the scene without stopping. It is unclear if any arrests have been made at this time.
