PHOENIX, AZ - A woman died in a house fire in a Phoenix suburb early Sunday morning, KTAR reports.
The fire broke out at about 5 a.m. at a home near Encanto Boulevard and Avondale Boulevard.
Avondale firefighters say the blaze started in the master bedroom, while the woman’s husband was in another room in the house. The unidentified woman died in the blaze, but the man was able to get out of the house before the fire spread.
Arson investigators say the blaze was accidental. The official cause has not yet been released.
