According to Arizona DOT, the initial crash took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway at milepost 191. The department clarified that multiple collisions were affecting traffic in the area.

Few other details are available at this time.

The eastbound lanes were closed for over an hour while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened shortly before 11:30 a.m.
