PHOENIX, AZ – Three people were sent to the hospital following a collision on Loop 101 during Wednesday morning’s rush hour.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the crash occurred on the westbound side of the freeway near the exit to 51st Avenue at about 9 a.m.
Two men were hospitalized in critical condition. A third was transported in stable condition.
The cause of the collision remains unclear at this time.
All westbound lanes were closed for over an hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
