PHOENIX, AZ - Investigators with the Phoenix Police Department have identified the motorcyclist killed in a Wednesday afternoon crash involving a pickup truck.
According to CBS 5, 31-year-old William Tewksbury was traveling north on 15th Lane when his motorcycle collided with a Toyota pickup that was making a left turn onto Dunlap Avenue.
Tewksbury was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It is unclear if he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the pickup, a 58-year-old man, remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. Police say speed may have been a factor in the fatal crash.
