The experienced attorneys at Phillips Law Group have been able to successfully settle or negotiate many debts for substantially less than the balance owed. Most large banks have systems in place designed to help them collect something on accounts that go bad. These systems take into account various factors when deciding whether to settle your debt and for how much, but nearly all creditors will take money off the principal balance to settle your debt.
A common problem that people face, when trying to get out of debt using a traditional debt negotiation service, occurs when settlement offers are made and consumers don’t have the funds to accept the offers. Many times the creditors have limited time frames before moving into the legal phase. Sometimes when a lawsuit is filed, due to an inability to pay the only option may be Bankruptcy. Therefore, it is vital that you save as much as possible each month, because we will not hold your payments.” You will save your own money every month and when a debt is negotiated, you will pay the creditor directly. The experienced attorneys at Phillips Law Group will be with you every step of the way.
The best candidate for a debt negotiation program is someone who is on a fixed income, someone who is self-employed, or someone who is an independent contractor. Normally, these wages cannot be garnished, making the prospect of a lawsuit substantially less and/or the collection of a judgment virtually impossible. We call this judgment proof. Another great candidate is someone who has access to funds in an emergency. For example, this could be from a relative, a refinancing, or retirement money.
Debt settlement is good for some people, but it cannot be predicted or guaranteed how much money can be saved. There are many factors that go into determining the actual amount negotiated, but most of clients are pleasantly surprised at the outcome of their case. Debt negotiation is a good alternative for people who are in dire circumstances and have a large amount of debt.

Jeffrey Phillips is truly a brilliant attorney and businessman. I would not hesitate for a moment to contact him if I needed a personal injury attorney in Arizona, you would be fortunate to have him and his team. If you have a car accident, slip and fall in a store, or get punched in the face, call Phillips.

My review is for Kathy Hudson a legal assistant at the law firm. She is great! She is very professional and a fair based person. She was never rude to me and always called me back. She listened to me and had my best interest as number 1. Mr Nasir who is a supervisor at law firm also was very professional and helpful. Not sure if spelling his name correctly but sorry if not. As far as mr Ross and the lady that runs the front desk reception I would say they are the most unprofessional and rude people I have met at a law firm in my life especially beings they were representing me. But Kathy made it overall a better experience. Thx Kathy.

I’ve been working at Phillips Law Group for nearly four years and I can confidently say this is the best personal injury firm in Arizona to work for. The firm is the best for numerous reasons but to start, Phillips Law Group gives employees opportunities for promotions and growth. I started working within the settlement department, moved to a paralegal assistant and grew to be a pre-litigation paralegal with my own case load. Each attorney I have worked for is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. Secondly, I love how Phillips Law shows appreciation for employees. They host Friday Zoom Huddles giving out PTO, goodie bags, special shout outs, bonuses and gift cards. They also host extravagant holiday parties and fun contests during the Holidays! Lastly, the firm cares about giving back to the community, which is a trait I value as well. It’s rewarding to see a fast paced firm taking time out of their busy day to pay it forward. I would highly recommend working at Phillips Law Group!

I tried a few previous law firms and none would take my car accident case with confidence they could get my anything. Phillips law group took my case and although it took around 4 years to get this case settled as I was in treatment, they never let up with insurance adjusters and they got me as much money as possible. They worked hard for me and advocated for me. Shoutout to key individuals who worked my case nonstop of the years, Robert Ross & Jasmine, you are AMAZING!
