B and D Foods, an Idaho based food company, has recently issued a recall of about 35,000 pounds of meat, which is fully cooked. The meat is a mix of both chicken and pork and those Arizona residents who have purchased any food items from this company must refrain from consumption.
After an inspection from the United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Services, it became clear that the meat products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This organism can potentially cause serious infections, at times even fatal infections.
The meat products have been shipped to multiple states throughout the nation, including Arizona. While no illnesses have reported, it is absolutely essential that these products are not consumed by any individuals.
If you or a loved one has suffered any illnesses after consuming a food item from B and D Foods, Phillips Law Group is here to help. Our Phoenix personal injury attorneys are prepared to take on your case today!
