The rate of which broken bone injuries are endured has increased significantly over the last several decades. Bone fractures have always been an issue in the United States, as they are one of the most common occurrences following a motor vehicle collision. A study from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development has found that the growing number of broken bones in the country is connected to the change in diet that has taken place over the last 20 years.
Children are consuming milk at a much smaller rate than they had in earlier decades, the lack of calcium due to a limited milk intake can cause the bones to come weak and unable to sustain the strong impact of an auto collision. As the number of broken bones due to car crashes continues to rise, Arizona residents must take note of the dangers associated with broken bones. When an accident occurs, victims must immediately seek medical attention.
When an accident victim sustains broken bones, treatment is typically given to stabilize the area where the fracture occurred, allowing for proper healing. In the United States, bone fractures are amongst the most commonly seen injury throughout hospitals in each state. In fact, 6.3 million broken bones occur each and every year in America. Arizona reflects the current state of bone damage, as a large number of Arizona accidents result in some kind of broken bones.
If you or a loved one was involved in an accident that resulted in broken bones to any occupants, Phillips Law Groups’ auto accident lawyers are here to help. With offices in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and San Diego, we are able to service a wide range of clients in various locations.

Causes of Broken Bones
While recent studies have indicated a general weakening of bones due to minimal calcium intake, the bones of a typical American are very strong. Nevertheless, when a traffic accident occurs and the impact is severe enough, the accident victims may suffer broken bones from the force of impact. When the body is unable to sustain the force of an impact, bone fractures are often suffered.
The most common causes of broken bones include but are not limited to the following:
- Auto Accidents
- Bicycle Crashes
- Boating Collisions
- Motorcycle Crashes
- Sports-Related injuries
- Work-Related Injuries
When an injury occurs, regardless of the specific cause, the accident victim must get medical care as soon as possible. While broken bones are generally an easy fix, the longer a sufferer waits to see a physician, the worse the injury may get. With this in mind, Arizona resident must see a doctor immediately following a motor vehicle collision.

It’s an Honor and a Privilege to work for a company that cares about its employees and clients for 12 years. I’ve seen Management go out of their way to help someone whether it’s a personal matter or work related. I am also reminded of many occasions where a Client needed urgent help and we as a Team were able to get the person immediate assistance. At Phillips Law we make that happen through Teamwork and a dedication to our profession. I’ve had numerous jobs in several other fields, those were just jobs. This is a home. Many of us have been here for quite a few years, it feels like one large extended family.

Many companies talk about teamwork but few practice it. Many companies talk about an employee friendly environment but few actually provide it. At Phillips Law Group the foundation of our success is making sure we work as a team and that we work in an environment that allows everyone to thrive and be at their best every day. Our firm understands that in order for the client to have a great experience the people responsible for that client’s case must be given all the necessary tools and encouragement to make that happen. That’s the Phillips Way. As a manager of this firm in charge of several employees as well as directly affecting the client’s experience I take tremendous pride in saying we live by these premises and we work hard to build on them and make them better every day. This is an amazing place because it has amazing people working here!

Great experience! Took care of pretty much everything, and I always felt like I want in good hands. Caroline Fa. was also a great help with everything. She always returned my calls and I never felt unheard. Even after my case she would still help me with my insurance documents.

Two family members were in a bad wreck a couple of years ago, and as a result called Phillips Law to represent them. Montana Thompson was the attorney assigned to the case with the help of Nemo Farr as legal assistant. Mr. Thompson litigated a very generous settlement for both my stepdaughter and her son. Because my grandson is a minor, I decided to act as conservator for him to ensure the settlement was safe and secure. Montana helped with that process, but it was Nemo who went way above and beyond the call in finding a financial institution to use for the restricted account. There were some glitches in that process but Nemo helped navigate them with a calm expertise which belies his age. I would consider them both great representatives of the level of commitment to their clients and assets to their firm.
