Arizona’s Humane Society Project Safe House

When a crisis occurs in Arizona, families quickly run to ensure that the members within the family are safe and secure, free from harm. Unfortunately, when disaster strikes, it is often those who cannot speak for themselves who get left behind, the animals. With this in mind, Arizonas Humane Society established the Project Safe House in 2000 to give a shelter to these helpless pets.
The shelter includes a place for these animals to be cared for and feel safe. With food and water, as well as a crate for a bed, when families drop off their precious pets, they know they will be cared for properly. In addition, the shelter allows for visits to be arranged. In this way, children are able to come back to the shelter to visit their pets, regardless of the situation.
The program began about 13 years ago, when it became clear that many parents were staying in unhealthy, abusive relationships solely because they feared what would happened if they left their pets. Project Safe House eliminates this fear, allowing pet owners the freedom to do what is best for them and their family.
Phillips Law Group has always supported Arizona families and their pets. We believe that all pets deserve a warm bed, food, water, and a safe shelter.
