Arizona Rollover Accident Leaves One Dead, Six Injured
SUV's were the top-selling model of vehicle in the United States for several years, as consumers purchased these vehicles to get the best of both worlds - the comfortable ride offered by a sedan and the power and safety provided by larger vehicles. Unfortunately, as more SUV's hit the roads, problems in regards to driving them began to arise, specifically their tendency to roll over. Tragically, that issue has arisen again as an Arizona SUV rollover accident has led to the death of one person and to the injuries of six others.
According to police, this Arizona SUV rollover accident occurred just before 5 p.m. yesterday on Interstate 19 near KM marker 46 near Arivaca Road near Nogales. For reasons that have yet to be determined, the driver lost control of the vehicle on the road and rolled into the center median. One female passenger was killed and six others, including the driver, were injured badly enough to need to be rushed to a hospital in Tucson. Police have not released the names of those involved pending family notifications.
