As they neared the Off Road Diner, which is located at 120 South Emery Park Road in Golden Valley, their vehicle was rear-ended by 83-year-old Irving Poissant, a resident of Wikieup. As a result of the collision, the Doty vehicle ran off the right side of the road, and Jill Doty was declared dead at the scene.
