Pedestrians and bicyclists must share what are sometimes compressed spaces with larger vehicles, and this can lead to serious problems. However, motorists are still expected to obey relevant traffic laws and to drive responsibly. While it's too early to know exactly what happened, what is known is that a UA student was hit by a vehicle and seriously injured in a Tucson bicycle accident.
