If you work as a taxi cab driver or you have worked as a taxi cab driver your direct pay plus your tip credit must at least equal the minimum wage. Just because you receive tips does not mean that you don't have a right to minimum wage. In Arizona the minimum wage is $7.65 per hour starting January 1, 2012. Starting July 24, 2009, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.

Anyone who works as a taxi cab driver or has worked as a taxi cab driver whose direct pay plus tip credit does not equal minimum wage should contact Phillips Law Group at 1-800-706-3000 and ask for attorney Trey Dayes.
