Driver Fell Asleep Behind Wheel and Caused Car Crash Injuring 1

According to police, a man fell asleep behind the wheel of his pickup truck causing a crash sending one man to a Phoenix hospital.

The driver apparently fell asleep on his way from working an overnight shift.

According to spokesman for the Phoenix Police, Officer James Holmes, the vehicle swerved toward a parked pick up truck.

The driver hit a 40 year old man that was standing by the parked truck who was then transported to the hospital. His condition remains unknown.
