Corrections Officers Killed in Car Accident

Reports have indicated that a car accident occurred between two vehicles on Highway 85 on Sunday evening. The accident took place in Peoria, Arizona, a heavily trafficked area. Limited details about the collision have been released, as the accident investigation is still underway.

Two Arizona Department of Corrections officers, Thomas Santiago Jr. III and Jaclyn Lee, 25 and 23 respectively, were carpooling to work at the Lewis Prison in the morning. The two officers died in the auto collision, although little else has been determined about the crash.
