Boy Dies in Phoenix Accident

On Wednesday, Damian Figueroa, a 10-year-old boy died in a Phoenix car crash.  Figueroa was sitting in the passenger seat of Toyota Corolla driven by his dad when a Nissan Pathfinder ran a stop sign at 45th Avenue and Indian School Road.  Damian also had a 7-year old brother that was in the car.

Damian's father and brother sustained minor injuries from the collision.

The 66-year-old man that was driving the SUV sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The Arizona Republic reports that law enforcement is still investigating the case.
